The Individual Evaluation for Additional Certificate Pathway for Middle Grades 5-6 Extension is available to teachers who already hold a valid New York State Teaching Certificate and have earned a Master's degree but wish to pursue additional certification. Teachers can apply for the Grades 5-6 Extension in specific content area, such as: Biology, English Language Arts, Mathematics, Spanish, or Social Studies.
