I have submitted my FAFSA for 24/25, when can I expect a response from Molloy University?
The U.S. Department of Education recently announced that all colleges and universities should expect to receive FAFSA information from students that have already submitted the form during the month of March. Molloy plans to create financial aid offer letters as soon as the information is available and send those to our incoming accepted students.

I have been unable to complete the FAFSA for 24/25.
Molloy is aware of numerous processing issues preventing students/families from completing and submitting the FAFSA. The Department of Education is sharing with colleges that these issues are expected to be remedied by the 1st half of April

I have been able to complete the student section of the FAFSA, but unable to complete the parent section.
We are expecting a resolution to these issues shortly and expect students/parents to submit the form.

What happens if my parent does not fill out their section of the FAFSA?
FAFSA requires parent information for dependent students, if a parent is unwilling to provide financial information on the FAFSA, our office would only be able to award a federal loan. If your situation is more complex, please contact our office at financialaid@molloy.edu or 516.323.4200.

Will I be able to make a correction to the FAFSA?
A student's ability to make a correction to the FAFSA should be available by the 1st half of April . This would include adding Molloy's school code to FAFSA (002775).

My financial situation has changed since completing the FAFSA, can I make changes to my original FAFSA?
Please wait for the initial financial aid offer letter from our office. Once you have received the offer letter, please contact us and we can provide guidance on a financial aid appeal based on changes to your family's financial situation.
