MolloyLife Media Earns National Recognition
MolloyLife Media, Molloy University’s student media team, earned national recognition at the 2025 Davey Awards, receiving one Gold and two Silver Awards for excellence in social media and video storytelling.
Presented by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), The Davey Awards is a premier international creative award focused exclusively on honoring outstanding work from small agencies, independent creators and in-house teams.
MolloyLife Media is the University’s student engagement content page and produces social media campaigns, photography, and video features highlighting campus life and community connection.
This year, MolloyLife Media received:
- Gold Award for Best Use of Social Video (Social Features): MolloyLife Gen Z Video
- Silver Award for Best Social Presence (Social Features): MolloyLife Gen Z Video
- Silver Award for Social Campaigns – Schools & Universities: MolloyLife Media Instagram Page
The winning submission, The Gen Z Video, highlighted the creativity, authenticity, and sense of community of Molloy University’s student experience and staff, featuring original production by members of MolloyLife Media in collaboration with President James Lentini and members of his Cabinet.
The MolloyLife Instagram page (@molloylife) also received a Silver Award for Social Campaigns for Schools and Universities, honoring the sense of community, student engagement opportunities, and sense of belonging the Molloy experience provides.
The Davey Awards are judged by members of the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), whose members include executives from agencies such as Condé Nast, Disney, Microsoft, and Spotify. Entries are evaluated on creative distinction and innovation rather than budget size, celebrating impactful storytelling across industries.
