Registration Confirmation

You can confirm that you are registered for your courses through Lion’s Den. Log in to Lion’s Den, and then go to the “My Academics” tab. Look for “My Current Schedule” on that screen, and you will see the courses for which you have registered. You may also add or drop courses (or switch course sections) through the “Add/Drop” section on this screen.

CANVAS Access

A few days after you are registered, you will have access to CANVAS. CANVAS is Molloy’s Learning      Management System where all your online courses and coursework will be posted. In CANVAS you will see the classes you will be taking next semester. The professors will begin posting introductions and assignments a day to a week prior to the course start date. Please allow the system to update your account before logging into CANVAS. It does not automatically happen. https://molloy.instructure.com/login/ldap

The first class will be synchronous. There are 4 synchronous meetings, when you will participate in an online class at the same time as your classmates. The remaining classes are asynchronous—you will participate at your own pace online according to the professor’s syllabus. When the professors open their CANVAS course, you will be given all necessary materials to download or purchase. Please check your personal email, Molloy email, and CANVAS account to ensure you have received all the information for the course. Once the course begins, your Molloy email and CANVAS will be the two main sources of information. Professors will NOT communicate with your personal email address.
