How to Register/Registration Timeline

You can expect to receive your admissions decision 1-3 (one to three) business days after you participate in the Orientation Session.

After you receive your admissions decision, confirm your admission and pay your $400 deposit. You can confirm and pay using the link in your acceptance letter (found in your admissions portal). If you cannot locate your decision letter, please contact Molloy Admissions (516-323-4000 or admissions@molloy.edu). Once the registration period is open, you can register yourself following the directions in this document. You will not be able to register until you have confirmed, paid the deposit, set up your Molloy email account, and completed a Registration Agreement, even though you may be able to view Lion’s Den, Molloy’s online registration system.

***Watch for an email from No Reply@molloy.edu (Molloy No Reply) in your personal email inbox with information regarding accessing your Molloy email account. Generally, you can expect to receive this within 2-5 business days after you have paid your deposit. If you do not receive this email within that timeframe, contact the Molloy Help Desk (516-323-4800; M-F 8 am-8 pm). Be sure to check your spam folder in case the email has gone there and check the email address that was provided on your Molloy application. The email will look like the example below:
The link provided in that email will direct you to a Student Technology Guide, which will be a useful and important reference for you. This will instruct you on how to set up your Molloy email account, which you will need to register.
How to Register
- Complete your Registration Agreement for SPRING 2026 (you will need to complete this every semester).
- Turn off your pop-up blocker for Lion’s Den on your browser; Chrome is the preferred browser.
- Go to portal.molloy.edu (under “Students,” click “Lion's Den).
- Once in Lion’s Den, LOG IN, and then click on the “Course Search” link on the top menu bar.
- On the Course Search page, navigate to the Course Search portal and launch the search by clicking the magnifying glass.
- On the search page, enter the registration year and term (2026 SPRING) and click the “Search” button. If you have not yet completed the Registration Agreement for the term, it will pop up to be completed. If it does not appear, please return to lionsden.molloy.edu and click the “My Academics” prompt. Be sure that you are logged in to Lion’s Den (and not simply IN Lion’s Den). If you still cannot access the Registration Agreement, please contact the Registrar’s Office at 516-323-4300.
- Once the Registration Agreement is complete, you should be able to register yourself online in Lion’s Den. Follow the directions below.
- In Lion’s Den, while you are logged in, look for the “My Academics” tab (or the “Course Search” feature). Then, click on the course/s section/s you would like to add (check off the Add box).
3a. If you are an SBL student, you will register for EDU 5680 and EDU 5688. All SBL students will take two courses in the Spring 2026 semester and will continue to take two courses per semester. All new SBL students need to take and pass 5680. There is a 20-seat capacity for each section. Each course has four different sections, but the content is the same in each section. If a section is filled, choose a different section.
3b. If you are an SDL student, please register for EDU 5700 and EDU 5702. All SDL students will take two courses in the Spring 2026 semester and will continue to take two courses per semester. All new SDL students need to take and pass 5700. If a section is filled, choose a different section.
- You will be asked to complete the personal information page and to add an emergency contact. You will be registered but, without completing that information, a hold is placed on your account, and you will not be able to register for the next semester You will receive notice that there is a hold on your account until all of the information is complete. This information will appear in your portal.
