School of Arts and Sciences
Undergraduate students in music education who are in pre-student teaching or student teaching must follow the directives of their assigned schools. If the assigned school is open, students should attend. If the assigned school is closed, students should not attend and should coordinate with their cooperating teacher and field seminar professor to reschedule needed hours.
Undergraduate and graduate students in music therapy should not travel to clinical sites and should notify their site supervisors.
School of Education and Human Services Field and Internships
Undergraduate, graduate, music education, and advanced certificate students in Education or Educational Leadership programs, who are in pre-student teaching or student teaching must follow the directives of their assigned schools. If the assigned school is open, students should attend. If the assigned school is closed, students should not attend and should coordinate with their cooperating teacher and field seminar professor to reschedule needed hours.
Social Work Students in the BSW and Fordham-Molloy MSW program should not travel to their internship sites when the University is closed, and should notify their field supervisors and arrange a coverage plan to make up the missed field education hours. If assistance is needed, students should contact their faculty liaisons.
Clinical Mental Health Counseling students in clinical placements outside of the Mental Health and Wellness Center should follow the direction of their site supervisor. When the University is closed, the Mental Health and Wellness Center will follow that schedule, and students should not travel to 30 Hempstead per the University's instructions
School of Nursing and Health Sciences Clinical Experiences
Undergraduate students in SONHS programs should not travel to clinical sites.
Undergraduate nursing students should contact their clinical instructors for alternate clinical assignments.
Allied Health students follow directions of program or clinical director. Graduate nursing students and SLP students should not travel to clinical sites and should notify their preceptors and externship supervisors.
