Internships Increase Your Chance at a Full Time Job

Approximately 75% of (or 3 out of 4) interns on average receive full time offers after interning. Which means that an internship is highly important with respect to landing a full time job. Companies are increasingly sourcing their full time entry level employees through their internship programs" (Top Internship Rankings 2016-Vault).

"Interns who were paid at private, for profit companies had a 72% chance of getting a job offer compared to just 44% of unpaid interns" (Fortune, 7/2016).

NACE Survey reports that paid internships at for profit companies were more likely to offer interns full time work. 72.2% of these students received job offers. Having a business degree doesn't seem to help much when landing a job, but a relevant internship does. National Association of Colleges and Employers report noted that an internships correlation especially one that offers payment or a salary with an improved chance of getting a full time job offer is virtually indisputable at this point.
