Accomplishments of Student Internships

Accomplishments of our business students supports this emphasis on internships

How do students know if a career field is right for them? How can students develop skills that employers will value? An internship assists students to develop marketable skills, gain hands-on experience and develop relationships with professional contacts for future networking.  Data indicates that many internships lead to full time employment after graduation.

Following is a partial list of major firms where our students have recently interned:

  • Deloitte
  • EY
  • PWC
  • KPMG
  • Marcum
  • BDO
  • 1-800-Flowers.com
  • Publishers Clearing House
  • Lifetime Brands
  • Canon
  • Merrill Lynch
  • Morgan Stanley
  • Oppenheimer

  • Disney
  • Broadridge

Our students confirm the importance of internships in their career development

"Thanks to Molloy Business Department's Placement Office, I worked six internships starting as early as my freshman year and ended up landing a full-time job at Deloitte in Audit. I am eternally grateful to the business department for all the help they provided in setting me up for life after school!" Ted Goshman, Accounting Major, Class of 2017 Deloitte & Touche LLP

"Molloy helped me get an internship my freshmen year, where I have learned and developed new skills. Now I have received the opportunity to intern with KPMG this summer with the help of Molloy and its faculty. I am looking forward to interning at KPMG and pursuing a career I am passionate about." Archana Senthilkumar, Accounting Major, Class of 2019

"The focus put on internships is an integral part of life at Molloy College. This focus pays immeasurable dividends for students and their future careers. Molloy Business Career Placement has been tremendously helpful in my finding of internships during my time at college, and this placement assistance is one of the main reasons I will be interning at PricewaterhouseCoopers next summer." Justin O'Rourke, Accounting Major, Class of 2019

"Molloy's Business Program provided me with the foundation and values to break into front office finance. Through the business department I secured my second paid internship with Marcum Financial Services LLC where I got real hands on experience and furthered my career in the high end wealth management industry."  Benjamin Garvey, Finance Major, Class of 2018

"The business department is always willing to do whatever they can to help students find the right position. They take the time to get to know your interests and locate positions that would appeal to you.  Whenever I needed assistance, I was able to send an email or stop by the department and get the help I needed right away." Brian Murphy, Marketing Dual Degree, Business Honors Program, B.S 2017, MBA 2018
