Elevate your Influence. Expand your Leadership Capacity

The Advanced Certificate in Nursing Leadership is designed for experienced nurses who already hold a master’s degree in nursing and are ready to elevate their influence, expand their leadership capacity, and drive meaningful change across healthcare systems. This postmaster’s program provides an accelerated pathway for nurses seeking to refine their strategic, operational, and relational leadership skills. The program is part-time and offered in a distance modality.

Grounded in contemporary leadership science and evidencebased practice, the curriculum prepares nurses to lead confidently in today’s complex, technologydriven healthcare environment. Students deepen their expertise in organizational leadership, clinical and operational decisionmaking, quality improvement, health policy, financial stewardship, informatics, and systems thinking—competencies essential for guiding teams, shaping practice environments, and improving outcomes.

Throughout the program, students strengthen advanced skills in communication, conflict management, resource allocation, ethical leadership, and change management. Learning experiences emphasize realworld application, enabling nurses to translate theory into practice and step into roles such as nurse manager, director, clinical leader, program coordinator, or emerging executive leader.

Designed for working professionals, the program offers a flexible structure that empowers nurses to enhance their leadership identity while maintaining career momentum. Graduates emerge as dynamic nurse leaders equipped to influence policy, support organizational transformation, promote health equity, mentor emerging professionals, and drive high-quality, patientcentered care across diverse healthcare settings.
