Childhood 1 - 6/Early Childhood Birth - Grade 2 Graduate Program

Future Teachers who participate in the Molloy University Early Childhood program gain valuable expertise in applying educational theory to daily practice.  Program participation ensures that candidates discover what it takes to facilitate a growth mindset in children, families, colleagues, and their communities. They are equipped to create and maintain learning environments that are not only developmentally appropriate but productive and proactive with regards to inclusivity and many other pertinent issues that affect today’s early childhood programs.  Practitioners leave these courses prepared to work in a variety of early childhood settings, including general, special, and/or bilingual education settings with children from birth through the 2nd grade.

Thanks to the generosity of her family the Molloy University Early Childhood program also coordinates the annual Barbara A. McDonnell Early Childhood Conference. This annual conference brings together some of the greatest minds in the early childhood field within the United States and is the place to learn about current Evidence Based Practice.
