Curriculum

The Molloy University/CAP21 BFA Program offers students the highest level of practical and academic preparation for the professional theatre.

Students enrolled in our BFA program engage in a comprehensive, rigorous and challenging course of study that involves academic coursework, intensive conservatory training, and a variety of performance opportunities, all designed to support students in the development and refinement of their musical theatre performance skills.

The academic component of this training includes general education and elective courses. The conservatory courses focus on the practical application of musical theatre performance techniques, including singing, voice and speech, movement, acting, dance, script analysis, music theory and private voice.

Our comprehensive training also provides a solid foundation in audition technique, as well as training in the business aspects of the professional theatre to assist students in launching a professional career and achieving life-long success as theatre artists.
