How CAP21 Shaped Ruri Kodama’s Journey as a Performer
Ruri Kodama, a recent graduate of Molloy University’s CAP21 Theatre Arts program, embraced a unique college experience that blended campus life with the energy of New York City’s theatre scene. She began her studies on Molloy’s Rockville Centre campus, where she lived in the residence halls and completed her core academic courses. As her training deepened, Ruri regularly commuted to Molloy’s Manhattan Center to study theatre arts through the renowned CAP21 Conservatory. In the second half of her college career, she moved to Brooklyn—placing her closer to the heart of NYC’s vibrant theatre district and allowing her to fully immerse herself in the performing arts community.
