Course Description

Organizations across industries are increasingly recognizing the value that neurodiverse individuals bring to the workforce. Employees with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, sensory processing differences, and other neurodevelopmental profiles often possess unique strengths including creativity, innovation, attention to detail, systems thinking, persistence, and problem solving abilities.

Despite growing awareness of neurodiversity, many business leaders, supervisors, managers, and human resource professionals receive limited formal training regarding how neurodevelopmental differences influence communication, executive functioning, workplace engagement, collaboration, productivity, and employee retention.

This continuing education course introduces participants to a neurodiversity affirming framework for supporting neurodiverse employees across workplace settings. Participants will explore how communication styles, sensory processing, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and workplace culture influence employee success.

Practical strategies will be presented for recruitment, onboarding, supervision, performance management, communication, team collaboration, and employee retention. Through workplace case studies and real world examples, participants will learn how to create environments that maximize employee strengths while improving organizational performance, employee engagement, and workplace culture.
