Vaccination Guidelines for Employees

Molloy University requires that all students and employees receive the primary vaccination series for Covid-19. Boosters are strongly recommended.

If you have a valid medical or religious exemption, you may submit a request for an exemption in accordance with the University’s Religious and Medical Exemptions from COVID-19 Vaccine Policy. Please note that requesting an exemption does not guarantee that an exemption will be granted. Exemption forms are available in the Molloy Health Portal in the Related Links tab.

If you have begun the vaccination series, you may request a temporary waiver of the vaccination requirements while you complete the vaccination series. Waiver applications are also available in the Molloy Health Portal in the Related Links tab.

Unvaccinated individuals with approved medical and religious exemptions, or those who have been granted a temporary waiver, will be required to follow established health and safety protocols at Molloy. If you are not fully vaccinated and have not been granted either a medical or religious exemption or a temporary waiver, you will not be permitted on campus. Further information regarding possible consequences for non-compliance with the Policy can be found in the University ’s Religious and Medical Exemptions from COVID-19 Vaccine policy.

To continue employment at the University, employees must comply with the University 's vaccination requirement. If an employee fails to comply, they will be placed on a two-week unpaid notice period during which time they may reconsider their intent to continue employment at the University. If they begin the vaccination process during this period, they will be reinstated immediately. If the vaccination process is not within two weeks (ten business days) of receipt of notice of non-compliance, disciplinary proceedings will commence up to and including termination of employment.
