Senior Letters for the Class of 2020

Molloy College Commencement Ceremony

COVID-19 UPDATE (04/17/2020):

Dear Molloy Graduate,

After much consideration and in alignment with what seems likely to be the reality through the rest of 2020 of large groups not being allowed to assemble, we have decided that we will no longer be able to host an in-person Commencement ceremony in June as we had previously hoped. We do not believe this would be a safe and realistic option for you, your families and our community.

I appreciate the important significance of the Commencement ceremony. As this would have been my last Commencement as President of Molloy, I am disappointed that we will not be able to celebrate together and in-person.

As you may know, many other institutions will be hosting virtual ceremonies and we have decided to host one as well. We will send you details for ours, which will be held in May. We will also send you an invitation to a future Commencement ceremony in which you may participate in May 2021. This in-person ceremony will be a celebration for the 2020 and 2021 graduating classes. Additional updates and FAQs will be posted on the website in the coming weeks.

I wish you all good health and safety in these times of uncertainty.
