Our specially designed graduate and post-graduate certificate programs facilitate career changes and accommodate the needs of the advanced and returning students. Business: With a real-world approach that can help you succeed in the world of business, Molloy’s executive-based graduate programs in marketing, accounting, finance, healthcare management, and business management are taught by the CEOs and CFOs of top corporations. Molloy’s MBA program is relevant, current, and will prepare you to advance your career.
Clinical Mental Health Counseling: As a graduate student, you’ll develop the professional identity, core knowledge, necessary state-of-the- art practical skills, and multi-cultural sensitivity to excel in a variety of mental health settings. Our 60-credit-hour, CACREP-accredited Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program fulfills the educational requirements for licensure as a Mental Health Counselor established by the New York State Education Department, Office of the Professions. This program is a part-time, evening program that can be completed in three years.
Criminal Justice: The Master of Science in Criminal Justice program at Molloy provides a variety of coursework exploring the criminal system and the minds of criminals. Our curriculum is designed to meet the demanding needs of both criminal justice practitioners and scholars.
Education: A recognized leader in teacher education for more than 50 years, Molloy's NCATE-accredited program offers Master of Science programs that can lead to initial and professional certification in NY State Master of Science in Childhood Education, Adolescent Education, Special Education, TESOL and Education Technology. Our program also offers advanced certificates in education, including School Building Leader and School District Leader.
Music Therapy: This is the first and only graduate program of its kind on Long Island. The Master of Science in Music Therapy degree prepares students for advanced clinical practice in music therapy and music psychotherapy. Students have the opportunity to earn their degree while experiencing ample on-site clinical training at various healthcare facilities and at the Rebecca Center for Music Therapy at Molloy College.
Nursing: With seven distinct programs leading to master's degrees and nine post-master's certificates in nursing, Molloy has a graduate nursing program for you. Molloy’s programs will help you achieve your goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Educator or Nurse Administrator, If you are looking to advance your nursing education beyond the graduate level, we are now offering a BSN to DNP program for RN prepared nurses and a Post-Masters Pathway to DNP program.
Social Work: Our collaborative Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) program with Fordham University enables you to earn a Fordham University M.S.W. degree with a flexible full-or part-time plan of study that includes day, evening and weekend classes here and at Fordham's Lincoln Center Campus.
Speech Language Pathology: With a curriculum that integrates theory and practice in the study of human communication and its disorders, our graduate program in Speech Language Pathology prepares you to join the community of professionals who provide necessary and exemplary services to a diverse population of individuals.
Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership for Diverse Learning Communities: This doctoral program prepares teachers, school administrators, related educational professionals and future professors for instructional leadership roles that embrace diversity, social justice and equity.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing: Become a leader in the nursing profession through research, education, administration and health policy.
Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.): A clinical practice-focused program in Nursing that prepares nurses to design, implement, manage and evaluate health care delivery systems and patient populations based upon research utilization. We now offer three pathways to the DNP: BSN to DNP, Post-Masters to DNP, and our traditional DNP program for advance practice nurses.
