In just two-years of full time study, you will be ready to enter the world as a health care professional.
Upon graduation, you will be eligible to sit for credentialing exams to achieve licensure as a Respiratory Technician or Respiratory Therapist and you will be qualified to work in:
- Physicians' offices
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Provide home care
As a graduate respiratory therapist practicing under the care of a physician, you will evaluate and treat all types of patients, ranging from premature infants whose lungs are not fully developed to elderly people whose lungs are diseased, all made possible with skill and professionalism achieved at Molloy College.
The commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care became a freestanding accreditor of respiratory care programs in November 2009.
