    Molloy College is my alma mater and I have so many good memories of attending this school.  My Molloy education provided me with the foundations for my success and now I want to give back to the school that has given me so much.

  • What I am working on

    My biomedical research focuses on the relationship between stress, diabetes and the development of cardiovascular disease complications.  I am also working on several basic science projects that explore the interactions between leukocytes and cells of the mesenchymal lineage.

  • Educational Philosophy

    My goal is to foster and inspire in my students the same passion I have for biomedical and basic science research.  Research is about asking questions that have not been asked before. Successfully finding the answer to those questions is not only rewarding but it instills in one a great sense of accomplishment.  For me sharing these accomplishments with students is extremely gratifying.

    If you are interested in Medical School, Veterinary School or Physician Assistant programs, then a major in biology makes sense for you.  A biology major is also the first step in a career in biomedical or basic science research or research and development in biomedical industry.  It will give you the foundations for a career as a technician in a research, histology, pathology, hematology, or other diagnostic laboratory.
