Yasmine Iliya, Ph.D., LCAT, MT-BC
Yasmine A. Iliya, PhD, MT-BC, LCAT is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Molloy College. She received her doctoral degree from Lesley University, specializing in vocal music therapy interventions for grieving adults. Dr. Iliya has primarily worked with adults in psychiatric hospitals and homeless shelters, and has most recently been working as a consultant with UNICEF to develop a music therapy pilot program in a Syrian refugee camp. Her specialties include advanced training in Vocal Psychotherapy and a certification in death, dying, and bereavement. She is the author of several chapters and articles, and has presented her work across the country. Dr. Iliya is also on the editorial board of Music Therapy Perspectives.
