Paula Berardinelli, Ph.D, holds degrees from Hunter College, C.W. Post, and New York University. As a free-lance pianist and organist, she has performed extensively in the classical, jazz and commercial genres, often serving as accompanist for pop artists such as Al Martino, Buddy Greco, Connie Francis and Jerry Vale. She was featured at the Chelsea Center Concert Series, and appeared with the Minnewaska Chamber Music Society performing works for two pianos by Debussy, Gershwin, Faure and Bolling. In addition, she has been the musical director and arranger for musical theater productions, vocal ensembles, and is currently the organist of St. Mary's Church in Roslyn Harbor. Dr. Berardinelli has been an Adjunct Associate Professor at Molloy College since 1999. Her areas of specialization include Harmony, Jazz Harmony, Jazz History, Ear-Training, Keyboard Skills, Finale music notation, and Vocal Jazz Arranging. Additional teaching positions include Hofstra University, Five Towns College and York College. Publications include Ear Training For The Jazz/Commercial Musician.
