Discovering Careers in Music
Career opportunities in music are exciting, diverse, and dynamic. In a world that is increasingly interconnected, creative, entrepreneurial individuals will shape and define the musical landscape for the next generation. What might a career in music look like in the 21st Century? Engage with Molloy College Music faculty to envision some of the possibilities.
The Molloy College Music Department is pleased to offer a selective, intensive two-day seminar for high school and college students who are considering a career in music. Through thought-provoking conversations and musical activities with faculty, seminar participants will emerge with an enhanced perspective about a wide range of musical career options to pursue.
Inquisitive, creative musicians of all genres (pop, rock, hip-hop, country, classical, jazz, folk, etc.) are welcome and encouraged to apply. Completed applications, including a letter of recommendation, are due June 1, 2017. Space is limited. Accepted applicants will receive a scholarship to attend the seminar free of charge.
