Want to focus on more than one major discipline? You can with the Interdisciplinary Studies Program at Molloy College.
Designed for highly-motivated students, this undergraduate program enables you to benefit from an enriching, broad liberal arts education in two or more areas of study.
Following the path of Interdisciplinary Studies ensures you will get the most out of your time at Molloy. We'll stimulate, guide and encourage you every step of the way and it's simple:
- Choose the subject areas that interest you. Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology, Communications, Criminal Justice and Legal Studies and Business are just some of the programs that participate in Interdisciplinary Studies. Combine them and earn your Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
- Pursue your passion for teaching. Interdisciplinary Studies can also be combined with Childhood Education for a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary/Childhood Education by taking additional courses in English, History and Theology and Religious Studies or Philosophy.
- Engage in scholarly research. Under the guidance of our respected, expert faculty, you'll use your knowledge and in-depth research skills to create a final seminar, paper or project. Through the discipline of this program you will strengthen your ability to write effectively about your knowledge, skills and values - all shaped by the stimulating, integrative process of Interdisciplinary Studies.
