The Molloy College Division of Education had a total of 175 program completers in the academic year 2014-2015 (does not include ADV).

These students took the New York State Teacher Certification Examinations:

Academic Literacy Skills Test (ALST): 98%
Students with Disabilities (SWD): 100%
Educating All Students (EAS): 94%

 

Molloy College teacher candidates are enrolled in our student teaching programs for a 14-week-semester, spending 30 hours per week in school districts.

Information regarding position availability and need can be obtained from the New York State education department website at www.nysed.gov. On campus, please visit the Division of Education in Kellenberg Hall, room 217, for program-related matters and the Career Development Center in the Public Square for additional statistics as to job availability in various certification areas.
