COVID-19 Precautions

May 13, 2022

Dear Molloy Community,

We hope you are all doing well. Here is today's update:

The Centers for Disease Control announced yesterday that they have elevated both Nassau and Suffolk counties to HIGH status, based on factors that include hospital admissions for COVID-19 patients, hospital beds in use by COVID-19 patients, and the number of new COVID-19 cases, all based on an average of the last seven days.   Based on this latest surge, and to further limit the spread in our community, all Molloy students and employees must wear a mask when indoors at any Nassau or Suffolk Molloy location.  This takes effect immediately.   You can find the latest Nassau County data here: https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#county-view?list_select_state=New+York&data-type=CommunityLevels&list_select_county=36059&null=36059

We encourage everyone to continue to wash your hands frequently with soap and water, and to stay six feet apart whenever possible.    If you test positive for COVID-19, remember to contact covid19@molloy.edu and complete the Report of Infection in the Health Portal.

We will continue to update our positive COVID-19 cases at the bottom of this page and we will continue to provide you the latest information for COVID-19 in our region.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact  Janine Biscari at 516-323-3457 or via our email address, restart20@molloy.edu .   Our goal continues to be keeping our community safe and informed. Stay connected. Stay calm. Be well. Know we are here for you.

Sincerely,
