Expressive Projectives and Play Therapy Techniques
This course will cover a number of projective practices in the field of drama therapy and counseling including the use of sand tray, puppetry, mask work, photography, video and storytelling. This course is both didactic and experiential in nature. Participants will also discuss theory and applications of the projective techniques to different populations including children and adolescents, addictions, post-traumatic stress disorder and veterans.

Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs)
Molloy College, Division of Continuing Education & Professional Development is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed mental health counselors. #MHC-0052. The course will be given on Molloy's Rockville Centre campus located at 1000 Hempstead Avenue, Rockville Centre, NY, 11571. The campus is located about 40 minutes east of New York City by train on Long Island. You will be contacted with the room location approximately two week before the start date. Travel directions will be sent with your confirmation, but can also be found by clicking here. The course will be held in the William J. Casey Center, Room 106.
$600 (Non-credit rate, 25% discount for Molloy: alumni, students, faculty and staff). There are no additional fees. Payment is due at the time of registration.

Registration is limited. Participants should register for classes at least one week prior to the start of classes to insure enough time for you to get your confirmation and parking permit. However, you can register up until the day of class. Please note that our classes do close out , so you may be taking a chance of not getting into the course of your choice by waiting.
