Online Teacher Professional Development (graduate credit)
New Online Courses Coming in late Spring 2018!
Molloy College, Education Division is pleased to announce that starting in April, 2018 and continuing throughout the year, fully online graduate education courses will be offered. (If you are seeking coursework offered online that is ofered for in-service credit and also qualifies for CTLE credit, please click here). We are still in the planning stages and more information, including the courses offered and the schedule of classes, will be available sometime in mid-March 2018. The following is some preliminary information:
Our instructor-facilitated, fully online, Teacher Professional Development courses are informative, fun, convenient, and highly interactive. Our instructors are famous for their ability to create warm and supportive communities of learners. All courses run for two weeks. The courses are part of Molloy's Education Division graduate course offerings and each course is 3 graduate credits. The tuition is discounted to $900 per course for teachers who are taking the course for professional development and not towards a Molloy master's degree.
Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links, and more. You can complete any course entirely from your home or office, any time of the day or night. You'll be given assignments to do each day completing engaging lessons in an enjoyable, interactive learning environment. Expert instructors develop and lead every course, and you'll be able to interact with them and with fellow students in lively online discussion areas. Courses are offered throughout the year, so you can sign up anytime. Upon completing a course with a passing grade, you'll get a CTLE certificate of completion from Molloy College. Each online course is approved for 45 hours of Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE). Click here for further information on the new CTLE requirements.
All courses require Internet access, e-mail, and the Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox Web browser.
Schedule and Tuition
Courses are offered throughout the year. The schedule will be available in mid-March, 2018. Please check back at that time to view the schedule.
Tuition for the courses is $9oo per 3-credit graduate course. There are no additional application or course fees.

All registration for Online Professional Development courses is conducted online. The online registration process differs if you are a continuing student or if you are a new student. Tuition can be paid online by ACH check, by MasterCard, Visa or Discover cards. Registration will be available on or around February 12, 2018. Please check back at that time to register.
