Business Honors Program

Molloy offers the only Honors Program in the region specifically focused on business. It is made up of the most academically qualified and well rounded students in each incoming freshman class. The size of the program is limited to 30 students divided into two classes of 15.

Honors courses are taught by the highest rated professors (our honors faculty), and the program is built around enhancing the skills needed to secure fast track internships and jobs.  Substantial scholarships are available.

  • Honors students develop their communication skills by giving oral presentations in every class and by participating in business competitions against other colleges.

  • Honors students participate in international business trips to China in their first year and London in their second year. They take tours of  international businesses and work with foreign students.

  • Honors students benefit from frequent networking opportunities with the Business Advisory Board, the Business Advisory Council, and the Young Professionals Network.

  • The entire network of executives at Molloy is committed to opening doors for professional internships for students. Every honors student has obtained a professional internship in their freshman Summer.

  • Although no separate application is required, admittance to the Honors Program requires an on-campus interview of the candidate with the Dean of the Business Division. Parents are encouraged to attend.

  • Although high school GPA and SAT scores are criteria for admission to the Honors Program, significant emphasis is also placed on the applicant's presence, communication skills, and overall enthusiasm for business.

  • If this highly selective Business Honors Program interests you, please contact Andrea Barone to schedule your appointment as soon as you can in your senior year since positions fill quickly.
