Internships and Job Placements

Preparing Students to Secure Internships

Preparation and opportunities to apply knowledge to a real-world business experience is critical to career success and connects directly to "the right training" of our executive-based learning model.

All Molloy's Undergraduate Business degrees require the completion of one internship, while many business students complete multiple internships during their undergraduate program. An internship is a short-term work experience for students to receive training and gain experience in a specific field or career.

The Undergraduate Business Division's Placement Coordinator and the Molloy College Career Development Center begins working with students during their first year to start assisting and preparing students to secure internships. Throughout their undergraduate program and after graduation, students learn how to prepare a resume and cover letter, develop networking strategies, interview coaching, and research potential employers and industries.
