Bruce L. Haller, J.D., M.B.A., C.F.P.
Professor Bruce Haller brings over twenty years of legal, business, and academic experience to his role as Professor of Business. His expertise in contract law and labor relations includes experience as an attorney and litigator in both the private and public sectors.
Professor Haller comes to Molloy with over 30 years of the college experience as a School of Business faculty member and administrator and former Dean of the Townsend School of Business at Dowling College. He has taught business classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at numerous institutions including Hofstra University, New York Institute of Technology, and Stony Brook University. His primary teaching responsibilities have been Business Law, Labor Relations, and Employment Law. Bruce has won numerous awards for both his teaching and community service. He currently teaches the following courses at Molloy:

- Sports Marketing
- Business Ethics
- Introduction to Business
Haller received his Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Brooklyn Law School graduating in 1989. He received his MBA and Certification in Financial Planning at Adelphi University. He also received a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Adelphi. His areas of expertise are Business Law, Employment Law, and Ethics.
A member of the New York Bar, Professor Haller has practiced law for more than 25 years. He started his career as a tax attorney at the Internal Revenue Service and later worked in the Manhattan office of KPMG Peat Marwick. At KPMG, he worked in the tax department subgroup of Financial and Estate Planning for High Net Worth individuals. Upon entering academia, Professor Haller continued to practice in the area of contract law focusing on labor and employment contracts. He has represented professional athletes, corporate officers, Fortune 500 Companies, the NBPA, and major unions. He has also been recognized as Teacher of the Year, Suffolk County Basketball Coach of the Year and League I Basketball Coach of the Year. A member of the American Bar Association, New York Bar Association, Sports Lawyers Association and the Academy for Legal Studies in Business, Professor Haller also volunteers as a Eucharistic Minister for Christ the King parish in Commack.
