Provide pediatric primary care for children from infancy through young adulthood


Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (PNP-PC) provide pediatric primary care in a variety of health care settings, including, but not limited to, private practice, ambulatory and school-based clinics, home, hospital, and subspecialty clinics.

The PNP-PC program prepares students to provide comprehensive primary healthcare to children of all ages, with an emphasis on health maintenance, prevention, management of acute and chronic illnesses, behavioral issues, and patient/ family education.  

Completion of the program enables graduates to be licensed and eligible for national certification (PCNB and AANP) as a PNP and practice in various pediatric settings.
