The Master's in Nursing Leadership Program at Molloy University is a 33 credit, part time program offered in a distance-learning format, that prepares baccalaureate prepared nurses to step confidently into advanced leadership roles across today’s dynamic healthcare organizations. Built on a foundation of competency‑based learning, the program includes 500 hours of invaluable real world experience in precepted settings, allowing students to apply leadership principles in real-world administrative, quality, and informatics settings.
The curriculum blends theory and practice with coursework in leadership science, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, health policy, financial stewardship, health equity, informatics, and organizational strategy. This comprehensive approach equips graduates to lead effectively within complex, technology-driven healthcare environments.
Throughout the program, students develop advanced skills in communication, resource management, policy advocacy, ethical decision-making, and systems thinking. Practicum placements provide hands-on experience in leadership, administration, and informatics, strengthening their ability to bridge clinical expertise with innovative leadership strategies.
