Educational Leadership Programs

Molloy University’s Educational Leadership programs prepare educators to lead with purpose, integrity, and a deep commitment to social justice. Our programs cultivate leaders who not only understand the complexities of today’s educational landscape but are equipped to shape its future.

Whether it is doctoral study or an advanced certificate, aspiring leaders engage in a rigorous curriculum that blends research-based theory and practical application. Faculty experts guide students through an exploration of curriculum design, instructional leadership, data-informed decision-making, and organizational change. Through collaborative scholarship and real-world expertise, students develop the skills to support learning communities and foster inclusive, equitable school environments.

Graduates of Molloy’s Educational Leadership programs emerge as transformative leaders who can navigate challenges with ethical judgment, cultural competence, and strategic vision. Whether stepping into roles as school building leaders, district administrators, or organizational change agents, they are prepared to advocate for meaningful policy, empower educators, and create learning environments where all students can thrive.

Molloy’s commitment to developing compassionate and effective leaders ensures that our alumni are not only ready to take on new responsibilities but are poised to make a lasting impact—within their schools, across their districts, and throughout the broader educational community.

Educational Leadership Department Vision Statement

Grounded in the four pillars of Dominican life—study, spirituality, community, and service—that drive Molloy University’s mission and vision, the educational leadership department seeks to create transformative, equity-oriented educational leaders who respond ethically and with integrity to a changing world. Graduates of Molloy’s Educational Leadership programs will have a deep understanding of educational challenges within diverse learning communities. They will serve as change advocates and work collaboratively to translate theory and research into policy and practice to further social justice.
