Meet the Team

Cathleen DiPietro: Director of The Hub
Cathleen began her journey at Molloy University in 2010 with the International Education Department. She also contributed her talents to the Office of Mission and the President’s Office before joining the newly-formed Student Solution Center (SSC) in September 2012. With her adaptability, broad skill set, and positive attitude, Cathleen moved seamlessly into the role of Student Solution Center Counselor and has since progressed to the position of Director. She possesses extensive knowledge of all aspects of academic life and is always ready and eager to assist Molloy’s students. Cathleen quickly recognized the positive impact of the SSC, describing it as “the place where Molloy students come to find solid solutions to their difficulties, within a friendly and supportive context.” Originally, the SSC’s mission was simple: provide solutions, assist with registration, and help students navigate the essentials of campus life. Over time, this vision has expanded, leading to the creation of The Hub. The Hub builds on the foundation of the SSC—continuing to provide solutions while broadening its scope. Its mission is to enhance advisement, deliver meaningful programming, streamline processes, and play an even greater role in shaping the student experience. Through relationship-rich and self-directed learning, The Hub connects students with resources and opportunities both in and out of the classroom. With a proactive, high-touch approach, The Hub provides personalized support throughout each student’s academic journey—from initial enrollment to sustained progress and graduation. Most importantly, The Hub ensures that every student graduates feeling supported, engaged, and connected from their very first day at Molloy through commencement. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Cathleen enjoys spending time with her family and, as a Long Beach resident, soaking up the sun at the beach.

She is deeply committed to student success and takes pride in fostering a supportive, engaging, and inclusive environment where students can thrive both personally and academically. Valerie is enthusiastic about continuing her work with Molloy students in The Hub, where she is committed to enhancing and expanding the range of services offered through the Student Solution Center, with the goal of streamlining student support and ensuring that all students have access to the guidance and resources they need to succeed both academically and personally.
