Sharing Knowledge: Potential Pathways for Engagement in STEM Education
On June 3rd and 4th, Molloy hosted the 2025 Northeast Noyce Professional Learning Network with the University of Rochester. The network is designed to: Provide opportunities for Noyce participants to connect, collaborate, and share pedagogical approaches, lesson plans, and innovations in STEM teaching and learning; Empower Noyce participants in the Northeast Region to partner in STEM education; Support Noyce Master Teaching Fellow alums in expanding their sphere of influence to support the retention, persistence, and success of early career STEM teachers through professional learning facilitation and coaching; Provide environments where Northeast Noyce leaders can connect, collaborate, and share knowledge and understanding to support continuous Noyce program improvement; and Encourage and support new proposal development from colleges and universities without experience in Noyce programs and collaborative Track 4 projects.

Highlights for 2024-2025
November 7-9, 2024, Noyce Ambassadors Emily Hunt and Zavrashtra Isaac attended the Northeast Noyce Regional Conference. Accompanying the scholars were Dr. Audrey Cohan and Dr. Francine Wisnewski, Principal Investigator and Faculty Associate, respectively. The conference theme was Sharing Teacher Knowledge: Voices from the Field about the Future of STEM Education. Program leaders, STEM teachers, and students shared their vision for the future of STEM education.
The Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program
The Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program, under the auspices of the National Science Foundation, provides significant scholarship support for juniors and seniors at Molloy University who are interested in teaching adolescent math, biology, or earth science in high-needs schools.
