Books and Media Catalog

The James E. Tobin Library offers our patrons a choice of three catalog interfaces:

JETfind Catalog - Powered by VuFind - will return results using the current interface of the catalog - Mobile friendly!

Molloy WorldCat  - searches Molloy's holdings and beyond via our consortial IDS interface. Items not held by the library can be requested instantly using the 'GetItNow' feature. Note: If material is requested through one of our consortial Quick Delivery Libraries, items will arrive much faster than by normal channels.

Molloy Catalog Classic View - will return results using the legacy catalog interface Voyager. Note, many features are not enabled in this view but you can renew books through this system.

Interested only in new stuff?

Check out New to the Collection - This is a feature inside our catalog where you can check either by title or library of congress classification for materials received within the past 1 to 30 days.

Get Notifications/Save Searches:

In our JETfindCatalog, an RSS feed can be created for any search by choosing the option at the bottom of the search results page. Note: you'll need to subscribe to some sort of feed reader e.g., Live Bookmarks, My Yahoo or have RSS enabled in Microsoft Outlook.

using search tools in JETfind

There are two ways to rerun and/or save an entire search for books or articles, either click on Save Search link within Search Tools, or utilize the Search History link on the right hand side of the results page. From there, you'll be able to see any searches conducted during your current browser session. Note, if you close the browser you will lose this information, however, if you choose Save, you'll be prompted to login to your JETfind account and the search can be stored and retrieved later.
