International Student Teaching

Distinguish yourself from other teachers!

International Student Teaching in Norway every Spring semester.

Student teaching is a key component of all teacher certification programs. Molloy will arrange for your student teaching assignment here on Long Island if that is your desire.  But we also encourage our students to do their student teaching practicum at a partner university in Norway.  Any type of study abroad experience expands your horizon but teaching abroad is an amazing cultural adventure. You will experience the social and ethnic aspects of the country, and you will learn a great deal about yourself, your ability to be independent and your ability to teach. To participate in this program, the only additional costs would be your airfare and your room and board.  The tuition cost is the same as your Molloy tuition.

Molloy College has an exchange agreement with University College of Southeast Norway for its students to do their student teaching abroad.

Please visit the website of our partner college to see what they have to offer you:

Finally, and probably most importantly - you will become a more interesting person, with added self-reliance and the ability to rise to any occasion that presents itself.

So where do you begin? Stop by the Office of International Education located in Public Square Room 310 and make your dream a reality. We can help you get placed in an exciting internship that will enhance your resume and your self confidence. There are even partial scholarships available.
