Palma Taranto: Portugal (2018)
Portugal was a beautiful wintry experience I will never forget. I enjoyed eating cultural dishes that were filled with rice and vegetables. I enjoyed their soups (for what I could, I was vegan at the time), and they were incredibly accommodating of my food modifications. I immersed myself in the Portuguese culture by learning key words to connect with people in the area, as well as doing plenty of sightseeing both day and night to get to know Portugal's culture. My most unique experience being in Portugal was taking a boat ride in Porto, and seeing how beautiful the city was from another perspective (aside from walking through it). Molloy's International Education Program was filled with many opportunities where I was able to learn so much in a short amount of time. I always wish to return!
James Marchetta: Leon (2017)
Studying abroad in Leon was one of the most eye-opening and liberating experiences of my life. For some of us, it was the longest amount of time away from home, but this experience helped me develop lifelong skills and exposed me to a new culture and lifestyle. During your college years, it is important to push yourself out of your comfort zone and immerse yourself in new environments with new friends. My time in Spain did just that. You will be amazed about how quickly your Spanish speaking skills will improve throughout your daily activities even if you have minimal foreign language education. Living with a host family is the best way to embrace the local culture and will feel like a second home. When your journey concludes, I guarantee that you will be looking to go back. ¡Buen viaje!
Jenna Turini: Salzburg Honors (2018)
Going to Austria with Molloy was the most rewarding and surreal experience of my life. I have never traveled outside of the United States before, and quite frankly I didn't want to come back! I saw the most beautiful sites, met incredible people, and overall had the experience of a lifetime. If you're a student at Molloy, and you're thinking about travel...DO IT!

Me on Day 2: "Climbed it!!!"
