2014 Business Honors Excursion: China - Shanghai and Beijing

Program description
China is modernizing more than any large society in history. Travel with your professors and classmates on an excursion to China where you will immerse in Chinese culture while discovering the inside track on Chinese business and technology. Visit historic sites in Beijing such as Tiananmen Square - not only the symbol of China, but also the largest City Center square in the world. Twenty four emperors ruled from The Forbidden City which was the Chinese Imperial palace from the mid-Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty. While in Shanghai, you will participate in professional exchanges with Chinese corporations and with both students and faculty at Fudan University. In addition to cultural excursions to the Yu Garden and the Jade Buddha Temple, one of the best-preserved and the most famous Buddhist temple.

This program is open only to students in the Business Honors Program. All students must be able to attend several seminars plus one pre-departure meeting in order to attend this program. The seminar will be graded on a P/F basis. Exact information on the times and dates of the seminars will be posted shortly.

Costs: $2450
To be advised. Costs include round trip air from N.Y. to China, 4-star hotel accommodations, sightseeing and admissions; domestic travel within China, bi-lingual tour guide, sightseeing will include many cultural heritage sights such as Beijing's Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall of China.
