Honors Trip
The Honors program is a year of study and exploration of modern history, thought and culture in the development of the modern world. This program culminates with a ten-day experience in Munich, Germany, Salzburg, Vienna and Prague, the Czech Republic. While in Salzburg, students spend three days at the Salzburg Global Seminar investigating the importance of global citizenship.
Global citizenship is an idea that surpasses a person's individual goals and looks instead at the world-at-large and questions our social responsibility. Essentially global citizens recognize that all of society is mutually dependent. When one suffers - we all suffer. When there is a war in one nation - that war affects us all. The leaders of tomorrow must be able to solve problems on a global scale.
