The Honors program is a year of study and exploration of modern history, thought and culture in the development of the modern world. This program culminates with a international travel experience allowing our students to explore the importance of global citizenship.
Global citizenship is an idea that surpasses a person's individual goals and looks instead at the world-at-large and questions our social responsibility. Essentially global citizens recognize that all of society is mutually dependent. When one suffers - we all suffer. When there is a war in one nation - that war affects us all. The leaders of tomorrow must be able to solve problems on a global scale. Some of our recent global experiences have taken us to Salzburg, Austria and in 2022 to Limerick, Ireland.
