Explore topics that interest you, discover potential academic majors and future career options! During this unique and exciting opportunity, you'll participate in interactive discussions, hear from guest speakers, and engage in hands-on activities with our faculty and student ambassadors. Enjoy socializing and networking with your fellow classmates during fun-filled campus events. Our Academies are open to high school students entering their junior or senior year.

Global Citizenship Academy - July 2019

Global Citizenship AcademyWant to know what it means to be a global citizen?  Are you concerned with political, economic, and social issues of today? If so, then this is the ideal academy for you! Issues such as human rights, sustainability, immigration, and climate change will be discussed, as we consider the impact on our communities and ourselves. This one-week program, sponsored by Molloy College's Honors Program, will expose students to the broad issues of global citizenship from various perspectives through interaction with faculty and other students. Highlights of the program include two day-long excursions to New York City visiting the United Nations, the Tenement Museum, Ellis Island, and the Holocaust Museum and Tolerance Center.

Leadership Academy - July 2019

LeadershipThe summer Leadership Academy will help students develop the knowledge, confidence, and practical leadership skills necessary to achieve their goals. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a volunteer and community service project.

TV Studio Production Academy - July 2019

TV Studio Production AcademyThe TV Studio Production Academy is a four-day hands-on workshop for high school students interested in producing a television series. Students participating will have the opportunity to learn aspects of script writing, record shows in Molloy's television studio, and edit video footage using industry software. Students will gain experience building a set, directing talent, operating a studio production camera, and using control room equipment (including audio and graphics).
