LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor
Recently, Molloy adopted two important tools: Lockdown Browser and Respondus Monitor.
What is LockDown Browser?
LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within the Canvas learning management system. Students are unable to copy, print, access other applications, or visit other websites during an online exam.
What is Respondus Monitor?
Respondus Monitor is a companion application for LockDown Browser that uses webcam and video technology to prevent cheating during online exams. Respondus Monitor integrates seamlessly with Canvas, and is ideal for non-proctored testing environments.
