Project Management

Cupola atop a building on the Molloy University campus

Trained project managers are in high demand across multiple industries, including technology, healthcare, consumer goods, design, and more. Earn a badge in project management, and study practices that you can apply at work the next day. You'll learn from instructors with extensive experience, and work in teams to develop hands-on problem-solving techniques. Gain real-world experience, increase your marketability, and advance into a leadership role with a flexible program designed to make you stand out as a well-trained project manager.

The courses are not taken for credit toward a degree at Molloy. However, students can pay the difference between the $945 per course rate and the full tuition rate if they wish to apply them toward an MBA program.  In addition to paying the additional fee, students who wish to pursue an MBA must submit an admissions application and undergo a departmental interview before an admission decision will be rendered.   The Project Management badge consists of three graduate courses that will provide students with the core skills necessary to effectively lead and manage complex projects.  Coursework will enable students to understand how complex organizations behave, as well as how projects are managed within such organizations.  Additionally, students learn how to develop project timelines, work with teams, and employ a multidisciplinary approach to project management.

Please note that all of the courses are part of our graduate MBA program. The program is only open to students who already have a bachelor's degree.

The Graduate Project Management Badge consists of three (3) courses:
BUS 5110 - Organizational Behavior (typically offered in the Fall and Spring semesters)
BUS 5860 - Project Management (typically offered in the Fall and Spring semesters)
BUS 5870 - Project Management II (typically offered in the Spring semester)
