Molloy University is offering two new test prep courses: the School Building Leadership Test Preparation Program and the School District Leadership Test Preparation Program. The courses are to help people who are going for their SBA or SDA certification pass the NYS exams. The two courses are offered totally online, but in a hybrid format: part asynchronous using Canvas and part synchronous using Zoom. Molloy students will receive a discounted tuition rate of $250. All others will pay $300.

School Building Leadership Test Preparation Program
January 5-24, 2026, with 3 synchronous zoom sessions: 9am-11am: 1/10, 1/17, 1/24
Tuition: Molloy Students and Alumni: $250; Non-Molloy Students $300
The School Building Leadership (SBL) Preparation Program at Molloy University is a three-week course designed to help aspiring school leaders succeed on the NYS SBL Certification Exam. The program includes nine asynchronous modules (3 weeks) using Canvas, covering governance, school law, instructional leadership, operations, community engagement, and equity, plus three live review sessions with mini-lessons and hands-on activities using Zoom. Participants will use case studies, guided readings, and practice questions to build the knowledge and confidence needed to lead their schools effectively. You will be sent further information regarding taking the course online, including the Zoom link, shortly before the course start date.
School District Leadership Test Preparation Program
January 19-February 7, 2026, with 3 synchronous zoom sessions: 9am-11am: 1/24, 1/31, 2/7

Registration and Tuition:
Tuition is $250 per course for Molloy students and alumni and $300 per course for non-Molloy students. Tuition is due at the time of registration. There are no course fees.
Students should register for classes at least one week prior to the start of classes to ensure there is enough time for you to get online access to the course. However, you can register up until the day of class, but we cannot guarantee that you will have online access on the first day. Please note that some of our classes do close out and some of our classes do cancel, so you may be taking a chance of not getting into the course of your choice by waiting.
Online registration is available by clicking here. You will be able to pay for your classes online by ACH check or by MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit card. If you pay by credit card there will be a fee of 2.95% for domestic cards and 4.25% for international cards added to the tuition. You can avoid the credit card fee by paying with a check online.

Confirmation of your registration will be emailed to you upon receipt of your registration. Your Zoom link will be emailed to you shortly before the start date of you class if it was not included in your confirmation.
