Note: Graduate and undergraduate for-credit courses do not qualify for the programs described on this page. 

Continuing Education courses utilize a few different platforms for registration of our various programs (the Molloy website, Enrole, Ed2Go). The page presenting the course description should link to the appropriate platform. 

Registration for Professional Studies courses is completed on the Lions Den student portal.

Dr. Amy Gaimaro leads Molloy University’s efforts to transform higher education by seamlessly fusing academic innovation with regional workforce strategies. Overseeing the Office of Blended and Online Learning alongside Continuing Education and Professional Studies, she leads the design of accessible, high-impact learning environments—ranging from degree-bearing online programs to agile microcredentials and professional certificates. With over 25 years of faculty experience in Mathematics and Computer Studies, Dr. Gaimaro partners closely with faculty, industry leaders, and community partners to leverage technology and evidence-based instruction. Her vision creates dynamic, career-aligned pathways that enhance student success, strengthen regional workforce readiness, and empower lifelong learners in an evolving economy.

Dr. Edgar V. Zavala is Senior Director of Continuing Education & Professional Studies at Molloy University, bringing more than 20 years of experience in higher and continuing education, with expertise in program development, workforce education, strategic partnerships, and lifelong learning. Prior to joining Molloy, he served as Director of Noncredit Programs at Manhattan University and Director of Executive Programs at Baruch College. A Fulbright grantee, Dr. Zavala has also taught economics and sociology at the college level. His work focuses on connecting higher education with the evolving needs of professionals, employers, and communities through accessible and innovative learning opportunities.

Krista serves as Director of the Center for Professional Studies at Molloy University, where she helps adult learners and working professionals achieve their educational and career goals. In this role, she leads the development and growth of innovative, flexible programs that provide students with opportunities to advance their skills, earn professional credentials, and respond to the evolving needs of today’s workforce. She works closely with academic departments and community partners. Krista is committed to creating accessible pathways for lifelong learning, professional development, and career advancement. Mary processes the registrations, payments, withdrawals, transfers, refunds and tuition credits in accordance with CEPS Policies, ensuring that all registrations, payments, billing and student records are maintained in accordance with Molloy University record retention policies and applicable privacy regulations. Mary oversees the billing for the MOST Program in addition to assisting with registrations for the Legal Studies Certificate Program. She also liaises with Molloy’s Accounting Department in order to reconcile registration reports with payment reports as required.

Danielle has worked at Molloy in Continuing Education and Professional Studies since 2000. She oversees the processing of all grades for our classes, issues students their certificates, BLS cards, transcripts and all other documents they may need.  She also uploads all NYS workshops to students TEACH accounts while providing data to the Education Department when they need to confirm attendance in such.  She assists students daily with registrations and any other questions they might have about a particular program we offer.

With 16 years of dedicated service at Molloy University’s Continuing Education department, Luisa has played a key role in supporting the successful operation and growth of diverse Continuing Education programs. She provides comprehensive support to students, faculty, and program operations, with specialized experience in Nursing, CT (Computed Tomography), MRI, and Pharmacy Technician programs. Luisa manages departmental budgets, accounts payable and CEPS faculty payroll, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and effective financial coordination. With a strong knowledge of program operations, she also serves as a reliable resource for students and faculty, helping to resolve issues, streamline processes, and maintain continuity of services. Luisa helps to ensure that programs operate efficiently while providing students and faculty with responsive, professional, and dependable support.
