Career Seminars
The Career Seminars listed below will be conducted as a "live" online seminar through Zoom. The career seminars are one and a half hours long and are offered free of charge. The seminars are usually offered 2-3 times a year, in January, May and in September in the evening from 6-7:30 p.m. The formal presentation usually runs from 6-7 p.m. with a question and answer period from 7-7:30 p.m. Therefore, while it is permissible to enter the session after 6 p.m., it would be best to be there at 6 p.m. You will be able to take the seminar using any type of device that has internet access: PC, Mac, tablet, even a smartphone. The speaker(s) will lecture as they normally would: any PowerPoints, videos, handouts, etc. that are present on the speaker(s) screen would be seen by the participants. Participants can ask questions and participate in real time as they would in a classroom course.
After you register for the seminar you will be emailed a link a few days before the seminar to register with Zoom to take the seminar online, along with a 5-mnute video that will give you the basics of taking the seminar online.
