At the Annual NYSACAC State Conference, hosted by Molloy University, we will explore the changing landscape of college admissions and “Transforming U” to be prepared for the vital role you play. NYSACAC is focused on delivering professional development addressing relevant issues that we face every day. During both Coming Together (June 4–5) and the Annual Conference (June 5–7), you will be inspired and energized by the keynotes, workshops, and networking experiences. 

About the Conference


Coming Together (June 4-5, 2024)

Organized by the NYSACAC Coming Together Committee, the Coming Together Conference offers thought-provoking sessions and networking opportunities in support of our goals around the issues of diversity, equity, and access.

NYSACAC Annual Conference (June 5-7, 2024)

The 46th Annual New York State Association for College Admission Counseling Conference brings together colleagues who serve college-bound students in New York State. The theme of this year’s conference is “Transforming U,” focusing on the individuals who make a difference in the lives of our students and our profession. We look forward to seeing you on Long Island in June!

    David FollickOn behalf of the 2024 NYSACAC Steering Committee and our 2024 Conference Host Site Molloy University, welcome to the 2024 NYSACAC Coming Together & Annual Conference Website. The Steering Committee and Host Site are busy planning an amazing conference. This year’s theme is “Transforming U”. As higher education professionals we are seeing the changing landscape of college admissions, this year’s theme will help highlight how we as professionals are helping to transform higher education.

    NYSACAC continues to be a leading organization at both the state and national level to promote higher education. This year’s conference will once again have an abundance of educational sessions, and social events at both Coming Together and the Annual Conference. Some of our social highlights will be a college fair, a CBO fair, a vendor hall, local college tours, our annual bocce and corn hole tournaments, WINGO (Wings and Bingo) and Happy Hour in downtown Rockville Centre These events allow for our colleagues to once again spend time together sharing educational ideas and networking in order to help our students.

    Our host site Molloy University is located on a beautiful 30 acres suburban campus located in Rockville Centre New York. The campus is nestled in the heart of Nassau County Long Island. It is conveniently located near both LaGuardia and JFK airports, and the Rockville Centre train station on the Babylon Branch of the Long Island Railroad is minutes from campus.

    Please note this year’s conference registration will be a bit different. You have the option to register for several different conference registration options in order to fit your schedule. All registrants will have the option to register for Coming Together and the Annual Conference, if you need on-campus housing you would select a Housing Request Form be emailed to you (limited on-campus housing is available). We will offer an early-bird discount available until May 17, 2024, along with discounts rates for all NYSACAC members (make sure your NYSACAC membership is up-to-date). We once again are accepting conference grants and awarding grants to School/CBO counselors who need some financial support.

    MargeriteI am absolutely delighted to invite you to join us at Molloy University for the NYSACAC conference in June! It is our privilege to have such a diverse and knowledgeable group of colleagues gathered here to share ideas, insights, and expertise. As we come together, I’m reminded of the power of collaboration and the importance of sharing knowledge. This conference provides us with a unique platform to learn from each other, inspire one another, and forge new connections.

    The committee is hard at work planning all the details to ensure a fantastic conference. In addition to dynamic keynote speakers, relevant educational sessions, and local college tours, our sponsors and vendors are excited to meet with you. We hope that you will gather valuable information at the college and CBO fairs, that you can take back to your schools to share with your students. I encourage you to make the most of this opportunity to learn, connect and collaborate.

    Oh and don’t worry…we haven’t forgotten about the social events! You will have lots of opportunities to reconnect with friends and build new relationships while playing bocce, taking an off-campus trip for the evening, or dancing to a favorite tune!

    Molloy has always been a hub of academic excellence, focusing on transformative education. Today we are taking a significant step forward by hosting this conference.
