Literacy Conference 2026

Cupola atop a building on the Molloy University campus

Embracing Literacy Practices in All Disciplines, PreK-20: Past, Present, and Future

Hosted by the School of Education and Human Services

In today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape, strong literacy practices are essential across every discipline and at every level of learning. Embracing Literacy Practices in All Disciplines: Past, Present, and Future, PreK–20 brings together educators, leaders, researchers, and advocates to explore how literacy—reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking—serves as the foundation for meaningful learning from early childhood through higher education and into professional life. Through keynotes, panel discussions, and handson workshops, participants will examine effective, researchbased strategies, support diverse learners, and envision the future of literacy education. This conference offers an inspiring space to share ideas, strengthen practice, and promote equitable, meaningful literacy experiences for every student.
