Job Coaching


The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation has provided funding for Molloy University to combat current and potential healthcare labor shortages on Long Island.

Free job coaching services are available for groups and individuals. Our job coaches can meet with people virtually or in person to assist with interview skills, resume writing, strategies for finding jobs and more. Group presentations are also available and can be adapted for each audience.

Scholarship Support


Molloy University is offering Healthcare Workforce Development Scholarships to help Long Island residents who want to work in the healthcare field but need financial support to enroll in a course or program.

Who is eligible for a Workforce Development Scholarship?

  • You live or work on Long Island.
  • You are interested in pursuing a course, certificate, or degree to start or advance your career in the healthcare field.
  • You will take the class(es) through Molloy University.
  • You can show proof that you qualify for assistance programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, work study, Pell or TAP grants, or free/reduced school lunch.

Examples of Molloy's Certificate Programs that could be covered by the scholarship:

  • CASAC Addiction Counseling
  • Certified Recovery Peer Advocate
  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • Medical Records and Medical Billing
  • Pharmacy Technician
