  • Location and Hours

    Molloy’s Suffolk Center is located at: 1100 North Broadway, Amityville, NY 11701.

    The main office is open Mondays, and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

    The Suffolk Center consists of a one-story brick building with parking available directly in back of the building.  

  • Directions and Public Transportation

    Traveling by Car: 

    From the West: Southern State Parkway East to Exit 32S (Route 110 S toward Amityville). Proceed south on Route 110 for approximately 1 block. At the first traffic light, the building driveway is the first one on the right immediately after light. Parking in the rear of the building.

    From the East; Southern State Parkway West to Exit 32S (Route 110 S toward Amityville). Proceed south on Route 110 for .2 miles. At the first traffic light, the building driveway is the first one on the right immediately after light. Parking in the rear of the building.

    From the North: Long Island Expressway to Exit 49S (Route 110 S toward Amityville). Proceed south on Route 110 for approximately 10.5 miles. After you pass the Southern State Parkway, at the first traffic light, the building driveway is the first one on the right immediately after light. Parking in the rear of the building.

     

    Travel by Railroad and Bus:

    Take the Long Island Railroad Babylon line to the Amityville train station. Pennsylvania Station in Manhattan, Flatbush Avenue Station (Eastbound travelers from the Pennsylvania Station in Manhattan or the Flatbush Avenue Station should inquire for possible change at Jamaica Station.) Bus and taxi service is available to and from the Suffolk Center. 

    The S1 Bus line is less than a 10 minute ride from the Amityville train stain.

  • Staff Information

    Mary Sibilio, Assistant Director, Off Campus Programs provides reception for and support for the Suffolk Center Programs, students and faculty.  She is the contact person for general inquiries and can answer questions regarding the scheduling of classrooms and the availability of the Atrium.  She is also the contact person regarding renting out rooms at the Suffolk Center.  She generally works Mondays - Fridays, 8-4 p.m.

  • Library Center

    Suffolk Center Library, part of Molloy's Suffolk Center, is in Amityville, NY. The library is open Monday to Thursday, 8 A.M. to 10 P.M., and on Friday 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. The facility offers access to more than 10 computers as well as group study areas for students who need to work on research papers and access the library's online databases and other electronic resources. Reference librarians are on duty during the semester, Monday to Friday from 9 A.M. - 5 P.M. and extended hours on Tuesday until 9 P.M., to provide individualized research assistance as well as guidance using different citation styles. Molloy's virtual chat service is monitored during regular library hours as well as on weekends during the hours that the Rockville Centre main library is open.

    Members of the Molloy University community can access the library's resources including online databases, e-journals, e-books, and media resources from off-campus wherever Internet connection is available. To access library resources from off-campus, a valid Molloy email account or Canvas login account are required.
