Molloy Speaks
Molloy Speaks
Launched during Community Day in the Fall 2024 semester, Molloy Speaks is a dynamic forum sponsored by the Siena Center for Social Justice, where members of the Molloy community share experiences, insights, and work aligned with one of our institutional pillars, values, or guiding virtues.
Do you have a powerful story, research project, or personal journey that reflects the heart of Molloy University’s mission and values? We invite students, faculty, staff, and administrators to apply to be a featured speaker at Molloy Speaks—a monthly lunchtime event that uplifts voices across our campus community.
Welcome to Molloy Speaks
Dr. DJ Mitchell opens Molloy Speaks by inviting the Molloy community to reflect on how their daily work embodies the University’s Dominican pillars and values and guiding virtues. He reminds us that acting justly, transforming communities, seeking truth, and listening reflectively are not abstract ideals but living expressions of Molloy’s mission. With the expansion of Molloy Speaks into a year-long initiative through the Siena Center for Social Justice, Dr. Mitchell encourages continued dialogue across campus—deepening connection, purpose, and shared commitment to community as a cornerstone of Dominican life.
